acceptable to“为……通用（接受）”，如：It is perfectly acceptable to sample the food before you buy.（你在买这些食品之前完全可以先尝一下。）
accessible to“为……能理解（可接近的）”，如：Healthcare should be made accessible to everyone.（医疗保健应该普及每个人。）
accustomed to“习惯于”，如：Her eyes quickly became accustomed to the dark.（她的眼睛迅速适应了黑暗的环境。）
adaptable to“适应”，如：The catfish is adaptable to a wide range of water conditions.（鲶鱼能够适应很多不同的水下环境。）
awake to“察觉到”，如：Artists finally awoke to the aesthetic possibilities of photography.（艺术家们最后发现了这张照片的美学价值存在的可能。）
beneficial to“有益于”，如：Cycling is highly beneficial to health and the environment.（骑自行车对身体健康和环境保护都有好处。）

fatal to“对……是致命的”，如：The loss of all my money was fatal to my plan. （钱都亏损了，我的计划破灭了。）
obedient to“服从于”，如：citizens who are obedient to the law（守法的市民）。
parallel to“和……有关（平行）”，如：the road running parallel to the main road（和主路平行的公路）。
relevant to“与……有关”，如：matters relevant to her research（和她的研究相关的问题）。sensitive to“对……敏感”，如：It’s made her much more sensitive to the needs of the disabled.（这件事让她变得对残疾人的需求更为敏感。）
susceptible to“易受”，如：Older people are more susceptible to infections.（年岁大的人更容易被感染。）
